Question

How do I import journal entries into Quickbooks Online? The community was asked this, and the answer was to speak to a customer rep from Intuit.

I attempted this and when the agent called, I got silence followed by a hang-up.  I asked again, and haven't had any response.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community, creed1.

I'll share your experience with the management team to improve the quality of our customer service. Thank you for bringing it up.

In regard to importing journal entries, this option is not available to QBO US accounts. What we can only import are the ones you can see when you click the Gear icon and choose Import data. You can, however, find a third-party app that can import your entries, or enter them manually.

Feel free to go back to this thread if you have more questions about importing data to QuickBooks. Have a good one.

Because we allocate payroll, benefits & taxes across multiple programs and bill multiple companies, manually entering it is time-consuming - downright onerous! And I've been doing it for quite a few years but we're anticipating a sharp growth in our business & I'll be swamped with grunt-work.  Can Quicken Desktop be loaded on One-Drive?  We have an MS365 account and the download should be fairly smooth. Otherwise, I will have to beg my CEO to find another company.  I can't keep doing this. And I know with absolute certainty that this is an unaddressed problem that has been ignored for years, but sorely needed.
