I'm here to help you import your credit card file in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
Since the file is downloaded as .qbo, you'll need to convert the file first into Comma Separated Values (CSV) to go through the process.
Here's how:
Open the .qbo file to your computer.
On the Save as type, choose CSV.
Tap Save.
If you're unable to do so, you have an option to use a third-party app to convert the file.
After that, you can now import the exact file to your account. Please note that you can add transactions as far back as January 1, 2014. Also, CSV files for credit card accounts may display transactions in reverse. For example, deposits may appear as negative amounts.
Once confirmed, you can now follow the steps below.
Go to the Gear ⚙ icon and select Imports.
Hit Import transactions.
Tap Browse, then locate the file you've created previously.
Review the column headers and data.
Click Import, then Continue to complete the import.
That's it. Your credit card data is already in your QBSE account. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have additional questions. I'm happy to provide an answer. Keep safe.
