How do I import the .qbw file to my online acocunt?

Thanks for visiting the QuickBooks community, @ian-gorman-3rdco,

 

In order to import a .QBW file (working company file) into QuickBooks Online, you will first need to open it in QuickBooks Desktop and import the file from there. If you no longer have a version of QuickBooks Desktop installed on your computer or it's an older version, there's no need to worry, as there are trial version that can be utilized.

  1. Open QuickBooks and click the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. On the pop-up screen select Contact us.
  4. Click the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box.
  5. Hit Search then scroll down to get your contact options.
