Hello there. Welcome to the Community.

You'll have to use one email and user ID for all the companies you sign in to so you can link your identities in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me share further insights about this and guide you on how to do so to manage your account accordingly.

You can have multiple companies under the same QBO account. With this, you can access your company files with the same sign-in info and switch between them easily.

When you use more than one email address or user ID for different QBO companies, you can send an invite to the email address you want to access all your companies with. We’ll call this “email A”. The email you no longer want to use is “email B”.

Before doing the steps below, please note that only the company admin can send invites. Then, make sure you already have an Intuit account with email A

Whenever you're ready, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to one of your QuickBooks Online companies that you access with email B.
  2. Invite email A to the company.
  3. Select a user type. If you want email A to manage other users and company info, select Company Admin.
  4. Go to your inbox for email A. Then, select the link you received to accept the invite.

Once done, you're now set to add a new company and switch between your files accordingly. For the complete details about this please see this article: Create or add another company file to QuickBooks Online.

Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages as your reference to guide you in keeping the security of your Intuit account updated: Account Management for QuickBooks Online. It includes topics about subscriptions, passwords, and billing info, to name a few.

Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have other account management concerns or questions about managing your business' growth and transactions in QBO. I'm always ready to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success.
