Hi there, @assistanceleague

To clarify, have you connected your bank account to the new account set up in QuickBooks? If yes, disconnect your online banking account and reconnect it to the existing one. By doing this, QuickBooks will stop downloading new transactions and delete all imported entries in the For Review tab. If you've already categorized those, undo them to remove them from your records.

To undo your entries:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, and then choose the Categorized tab.
  2. Choose all the transactions to undo.
  3. Click the Undo button when you're ready.

After that, it's time to disconnect your bank account. Let me guide you how:

  1. Navigate through the Banking menu.
  2. Select the tile for the wrong bank account.
  3. Click the pencil icon, and then choose Edit account info.
  4. Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Click Save and close.

Then, delete the new account in your Chart of Accounts (COA) list.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then Chart of accounts.
  2. Find the new account.
  3. Click the Action dropdown and select Make inactive.

Finally, you can now connect bank account to the correct one. Make sure to select the existing account in your COA.

  1. Head to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Connect Account or Link account.
  3. In the search field, enter the name of your bank, credit card, or credit union and select it from the list.
  4. Enter your username and password to log in to your online banking. Then, Continue.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps. This might include security checks your bank requires. It could take a few minutes to connect.
  6. Choose the account you want to connect and select the existing account from your COA you want to link it with.
  7. Select how far back you want to download and then click Connect.

Then, you'll want to categorize and match your entries to organize them and ensure they're well accounted for.

Please let me know how these steps turn out and in if you've got other banking concerns. I'd be happy to give a guide or two for you.
