How do I link up to Etsy without involving my bank account? If I can't do that, I don't want this.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. In QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can connect your Etsy account directly on the banking page. I'll show yo how to do it: 

1. Click the Gear icon, then choose Bank accounts. 
2. Tap the + Connect another account. 
3. In the search bar enter Etsy. 
4. Press the Etsy bank account. 
5. Hit Continue to complete the connection.

From here, you can now categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. See this reference for more information about schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed to report your self-employed income and expenses.
