How do I reconcile my accounts using the app on an iPad?

Hello there, @ackcan. I want to ensure you can reconcile your bank or credit cards account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

You can only reconcile your accounts using a web browser or desktop app. To start reconciling, you can perform the following steps:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account and go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Reconcile. Then, from the Account drop-down choose the account you want to reconcile. 
  3. Ensure that the Beginning balance in QBO matches the one on your statement. If they don't, follow these steps: Fix issues the first time you reconcile an account.
  4. Next, enter the Ending balance and Ending date on your statement.
  5. If you see the Last statement ending date, review it. This is the end date of your last reconciliation. Your current bank statement should start the day after.
  6. Once everything is fine, click Start reconciling.

Once reconciliation is done, you can also pull up a reconciliation report that you can save to serve as a reference to avoid reconciliation issues in the future.
