My individual deposits do not appear on my bank feed, but the funds are in the ending balance. How do I record in quickbooks so I can reconcile?

I'm here to help manage your bank transactions so you can reconcile them, maryloon.

Let's run three manual updates to catch transactions from your bank. Simply go to Banking and click on Update.

You can check out this article and learn what to do if you don’t see your recently downloaded bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If the issue persists, then I suggest updating your bank account sign-on information. This helps re-establish the connection.

Otherwise, you can manually import bank transactions. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu in QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select the Link account ▼ drop-down and then Upload from file.
  3. Select Browse, select the file you downloaded from your bank, then click Next.
  4. On the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down, choose the account you want to upload the transactions into, then click Next.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then select Next.
  6. When you're ready, select Let's go.

Now that your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them. The transactions go into your accounts after you review them.

The final step is to reconcile them. This ensures your books are accurate and there aren't any duplicate transactions.

On the other hand, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Team so they can isolate this issue. Just make sure to provide your financial institution for tracking purposes.

I'll be here if you have other banking concerns. Thank you and take care always!
