Good day, Segars52.

I've got the steps on how you can remove the transactions on the Banking page.

With QuickBooks Online, we can only disconnect the account. The system keeps the records of previous transactions, but it will not download the new ones. Here's how:

  1. On the Banking page, click the tile of the account.
  2. Hit the edit (pencil) icon.
  3. Click Edit account info.
  4. Tick the Disconnect this account on save field.
  5. Click Save and Close.

If you want to remove the linked transactions on the Chart of accounts, you can deactivate it. Let me guide you with these steps:

  1. From the Accounting tab, select Chart of accounts.
  2. Locate the account.
  3. Under ACTION, click the drop-down icon.
  4. Select Make inactive.
  5. If prompted, hit Yes.

When you run reports, you'll still see the inactive accounts and their transactions. QuickBooks includes them to keep everything accurate. You can customize some reports to hide inactive accounts, but it may affect accuracy. Here's how to see the inactive accounts:

  1. On the Chart of accounts page, click the small Gear icon.
  2. Select the Include inactive checkbox.

You can always mention my name whenever things arise.
