Let me help you remove the bank account that was accidentally linked, @rockinappliances.

For this process, let's consider using a supported web browser since the application doesn't have the functionality to unlinked bank accounts. First, we'll need to disconnect the bank connection. In this manner, QuickBooks will remove the transactions from the For review and Excluded tab.

If you have the transactions in the bank register, you can remove them by going to the Categorized tab, then check the boxes before the Date column to click the Undo button. This way, the entries will go back in the For review tab and get automatically removed after disconnection.

Here's how to remove the connection between your bank and QuickBooks:

  1. Go to the Banking/Transactions menu and then choose the Banking tab.
  2. Select the tile for the bank account in question (it will highlight the tile as blue).
  3. Click the Pencil icon, then select Edit account info.

  4. Check the Disconnect this account on save box. Note: If QuickBooks is downloading new transactions, you won't see this option. Wait a few minutes for the update to finish and try again.

  5. Press Save and Close.

Feel free to read this article for more details about removing bank account connections, deleting an account from your chart of accounts (COA), and how to get them back to your COA:

You can now continue to connect the right bank account to QuickBooks Online and categorize the transactions.
