How do I remove my bank account. None of the support answers work. Nothing ever shows an option to remove or delete. It's so difficult to figure out It's sketchy?

It's a pleasure to have you here, tandagriffeth-gm.  Let me share with you some details about removing accounts in QuickBooks Online.   

If your account is connected to the online banking feature. You may need to disconnect the bank connection before deleting the account. Keep in mind that you can restore a deleted account, but may need to make corrections to journal entries and balances. If you're unsure, check with your accounting professional before deleting an account. 

To disconnect an account: 

1. Click the Banking, and then select the Banking sub-tab.
2. Choose the account you want to delete, and then click its Edit icon, then Edit account info.
3. In the Account window, mark check Disconnect this account on save.
4. Tap on Save and Close.

If the inactive accounts contain transactions, they will remain in your company data, including your reports. But isn't automatically updated with downloaded transactions. I've got you an article for more details about how QBO handles the deleted accounts. 

To delete an account: (Be sure you understand the effects if you fully delete an account.) 

1. Click the Gear icon, and then tap the Chart of Accounts.
2. Press the account you want to delete in the list.
3. Hit on the drop-down arrow beside View register and select Delete/Make inactive.
4. Confirm that you want to delete the account. 

If incase the Disconnect this account on save or Delete box are unavailable. This can be a browser issue. Let's isolate it by opening QuickBooks Online using a private browser. From there, try to check if the option is available. If it is, go back to your main browser and clear the cache. This will fix browser issues and help the system run better on your computer.

Moreover, using a different browser fixes issues like this (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox)
