How do I reset my entire QB account. I made this account before understanding QB and now my finances are all messed up.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, deaunseliteevent. I understand the urgency of the matter. Let me walk you through the steps in starting over in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before you start, be sure you want to delete everything. Erasing all you QuickBooks Online company data depends on how long you've had your subscription. Make sure that you're signed in to QBO as an admin.

If you've had your subscription for more than 60 days, you can cancel your subscription. Here's how:

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Click the Billing and Subscription tab.
  4. In the subscription box, select Cancel Subscription.
  5. You can sign up for a new account and start over.

If your subscription is less than 60 days, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your company as an admin. After that, open this link. Alternatively, you can edit the URL or web address to https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
    For example:
    Before: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage
    After: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  2. To confirm you want to delete your company data, type Yes, then select OK.
  3. Select your industry from the ▼ dropdown.
  4. Select Wipe data.

I'll include these helpful resources for additional information and steps on this process:

Furthermore, To reuse your current lists after starting over, find out more about moving your lists to a new company.
