Thanks for posting here in the Community, @consulting-champ. I'd like to ensure that your payment concern gets sorted out.
If you need to change the debit card and checking account the money goes to:
- Select Settings and then Account and settings.
- Select the Payments and go to the Deposit accounts section.
- Select Change to edit your instant deposit info. Note: If you switch from your personal debit card to your QuickBooks Cash debit card, select the 0% fee option.
- When you're done, select Save and then Done.
You can contact our Payments Support Team to close your QuickBooks Cash account since you don't use this feature. Before closing your account, it needs to have a $0 balance.
To do that, you can either spend your remaining balance or transfer it to your external bank account. Once the balance is zero, you need to connect with our live support via the number provided at the back of your QuickBooks Debit Card. You can also go to this link: Contact Payments Support. Then follow the steps under QuickBooks Online with Payments & Merchant Service Center.
To transfer the money, you'll have to connect your bank account to QuickBooks Cash. From here, you can transfer the money out of the QuickBooks Cash account to deposit it into your bank account.
Here's how:
- Go to the Cash Flow menu and select Transfer money.
- Select Transfer in and follow the onscreen instructions.
- Enter the bank's details and hit Next.
- Choose Sounds good once you're done.
Then, QuickBooks will send two small deposits to the account within the next three days that you need to verify before you can transfer.
To take the money out of your QuickBooks Cash account, follow the steps below:
- In the Get or send money dropdown, choose Transfer money.
- In the From field, pick your QuickBooks Cash account.
- In the To field, select the (+), choose your checking account.
- Provide all the necessary information.
- Hit Finalize transfer once you're done.
