How do I stop receiving messages from a closed account without losing this years data?

Let me get the help you need concerning your closed account, @george-kunschman.

 

In QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can hide bank accounts if you no longer want to see transactions from a bank account. Doing this will stop QuickBooks from downloading new transactions but keeps all the existing data. 

 

Let me show you how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon at the upper right-hand.
  2. Choose Bank Accounts from the drop-down menu that appears.
  3. Find the account you want to hide.
  4. Toggle OFF the Show Account option.
