Question

How do I transfer the money from a paid invoice to my bank account? I got paid via bank transfer, and I would like to move that money but can’t find it.

When I initially set up my Quickbooks account, I seem to remember connecting my USAA checking account information. Then, I sent an invoice to a customer, it was paid via bank transfer, and quickbooks is showing it has been paid. But how do I move that money into my own checking account?

I've got the steps for this, Madilyn.

You can use your QuickBooks Checking account to transfer money from a paid invoice to your Checking bank account. I can share a step-by-step process on how to do this in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking services, then select QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Click on Transfer, then select Transfer money.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to transfer.
  4. Choose your connected bank account in the From dropdown.
  5. Select your QuickBooks Checking account in the To dropdown.
  6. Click Next, then Finish transfer.
