Thanks for giving QuickBooks the opportunity to help you with your business needs, @jordan-dreamsbyd.

I'd be happy to walk you through on how to link the payment to your bank in QuickBooks Online.

You can create a bank deposit to link the payment to your bank account. This way, the money will be deposited to your linked bank account in QBO.

To do that:

  1. Select + New.
  2. Click on Bank Deposit.
  3. From the Account drop-down, choose the account you want to put the money into.
  4. Select the checkbox for each transaction you want to combine.
  5. Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip. Use your deposit slip as a reference.
  6. Select Save and close or Save and new.

Here's a link that contains some visual reference about the process: Record and make bank deposits in QuickBooks Online.

After that, you can now link the invoice and the deposit that you made to mark it as paid.

Here's how:

  1. Select + New.
  2. Click on Receive Payment.
  3. Select the Customer from the dropdown. This displays all open invoices and outstanding credits for your customer.
  4. In the Payment date field, enter the day you received the payment.
  5. In the Outstanding Transactions section, select the invoice you need to mark as paid.
  6. Under Credits, select the deposit.
  7. Select Save and Close.

Please see this reference for more details about this procedure: Learn how to link a bank deposit to an invoice in QuickBooks Online.
