I want to make sure you're able to undo the QuickBooks cash account, @userlane-joann.

If you mean you'll want to close your QuickBooks Cash account, make sure the balance is $0. You can either use your remaining balance or have it transferred to your external bank account. Once the balance $0, I recommend reaching out to our Payments Support team. They'll be able to pull and review your account. After that, they can already assist you with closing the QuickBooks Cash account.

I've included this article to learn more about QuickBooks Cash accounts and the Cash Flow menu

If you want to undo a reconciled period, you can do so if you're using a QuickBooks Online Accountant. Otherwise, you'll want to invite an account and let them do the process.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then choose Manage Users.
  2. Select the Accounting firms tab, and click the Invite button.
  3. Fill in the accountant's information.
  4. Choose Save.
  5. Then, let your accountant undo the entire reconciliation.

Otherwise, you can undo the reconciled transactions one at a time. Here's an article for your reference: How to Unreconcile a Transaction or Undo a Reconciliation

Moreover, I'll be adding this link that includes several banking articles you can use in the future: Find help with bank feeds and reconciling accounts.

If there's anything else I can do for you, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'm a post away to help. Have a wonderful Monday!
