It's relatable to make mistakes sometimes, Brad. No worries, I'm here to help you disconnect your bank in QuickBooks.

We can unlink the bank account that was accidentally connected to QuickBooks by disabling the Disconnect this account on save option. To do so, we can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Click the accurate bank account that needs to be disconnected.
  3. Select the Pencil icon . Then, choose the Edit account info.
  4. Tick the Disconnect this account on save checkbox. If QuickBooks is downloading new transactions, you won't find this option. You'll have to wait a few moments for it to update and try again.
  5. Hit Save and Close.

For more detailed information about unlinking bank accounts, you can review this article: Disconnect accounts connected to online banking in QuickBooks Online.
