Thanks for reaching us in the Community, jorfrank88. Let me share some additional insight about unlinking an account an external account for your QuickBooks Checking.

For now, unlinking an external bank account from your QuickBooks Checking account is unavailable. However, you can add another account to use in the future.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Dashboard, then select Cash flow.
  2. Select QuickBooks Checking.
  3. Choose Transfer and click on Add a bank.
  4. Enter the necessary information about this bank account.
  5. Follow the prompts to finish adding this account.

QuickBooks will deposit two small amounts into your account after three days. You can verify the transactions in QuickBooks once you see the deposits in your account.

1. That's not true. I was told on the phone I can unlink a bank account. So either I was told wrong information or you are incorrect.

2. This doesn't answer my question. I asked about unlinking an account. Are you telling me there is no possible way to do this?

I want to unlink the account so I can relink it again. I am assuming I can't link the same bank account twice to my QBO?
