Question

How do you add co-owner to QuickBooks / Green Dot Bank checking in quickbooks?

To get approved for QuickBooks checking, I need to provide co-owner information. The instructions say to go to cash flow center and add the co-owner. I see nothing under "Cash Flow" to add co-owner. Any thoughts?

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community, rdemello.

Let me provide insights on how adding a co-owner works in your QuickBooks Checking. I'll also ensure you'll be routed to the right support team to assist you further on this matter.

Please note that when you visit the Cash Flow Center, you will normally be prompted or receive a notification instructing you to add co-owner information. However, this only becomes available if you check the option indicating that you have a co-owner when signing up for QuickBooks Checking. You'll then have 30 days to add the details to prevent having your QB Checking permanently deactivated.

Since you're unable to view or get the above prompt, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Merchant Support Team. They're the best support group for such inquiries as they can request account information. This allows them to investigate why you don't see anything under "Cash Flow" to add a co-owner.

In case you need a different overview of QuickBooks Checking and how you manage this on your end, you can read this article: QuickBooks Checking FAQ.

You can add a comment below if you have additional questions regarding adding a co-owner to QB Checking. I'm always around the help you further. Take care and enjoy the rest of the day.
