Truly horrible customer service at Intuit. We have been loyal Intuit customers for almost a decade. However, because we are closing our corporation, we also have to close our Intuit account, of course. I spent 45 minutes, and still have been unable to get any assistance. I called and was disconnected twice. Then I tried chat and communicated with Carole, who was nice, but could not help me. Then I was connected with Rezza. That person could also not help me, and when I requested a supervisor, s/he (politely) disconnected me. So frustrating. Miserable customer care - and after all of these years with the company.

I've used QuickBooks Pro Desktop since 2008. Unfortunately, the main phone number associated with my account was a landline - no longer used. I need to change the bank account and primary email address, but I cannot receive a text message to this former landline. We've opened a ticket with QuickBooks over three weeks ago. All we're ever told is our issue is in process. Give me a break! This unresolved issue is causing major issues with my business. Such an easy issue to fix - or so it would seem. PLEASE - WE NEED HELP!

quick books has quickly become the best example of what happens to a company when they rely on bots and chat rooms. Customer service is an abomination and getting to a human is the most feared outcome of any interaction with them. I basically pay $50 a month for a spread sheet and cloud storage. I looked into fresh books but I am not convinced they are the answer. I need to get away from quickbooks. It is killing my soul. Does anyone have a suggestion for a small construction company?

I cancelled all of my quickbooks and intuit services back in July. I am still being charged 185.94 per month by you. I am currently on the phone with you and its been 1:27:09. I have been handed back and forth from desktop to online and back again. I provided them with the reference number from the invoice for the charge, the business id and the line item "

Intuit Field Service Management Monthly

and they still can't figure out what it is for. This is starting to feel very fraudulent for a large company that should have its stuff together. You don't let the customer cancel from their account and when you call to cancel you are assured it has been and the charges keep coming. It makes me wonder how many other customers are still getting charged after they cancel...

Did you use QB Desktop Enterprise and paid monthly subscriptions?

November 16, 2022

I have been dealing with an issue for weeks. I use QB with my Bank of America account.  QB drastically increased its costs last year, requiring a subscription and getting away from desktop ( this way they can hold your financial info for ransom if you discontinue the subscription).  I bought it, but then my bank discontinued the direct connect platform, rendering my qb program useless. I spent 8 hours on hold last week until I finally got a level 2 support person. He tried to connect with the bank, but by then they were closed. I have called every day since to try to connect with a level 2 person, but each time takes at least an hour and I don't have time to sit around. Support is part of the subscription cost and they don't offer it. I wonder if this could be reported to the CFPB.

I see how the bank feed issue has taken up time and prevented you from finishing other tasks, mcm2.

I checked with our resources, and our Tier 2 support is already working with you toward finding a permanent resolution. Let us know how the call goes, and return to the Community if your concern remains unresolved.

We'll get back to you as soon as possible to assist you further and ensure that you can continue to use the bank feeds smoothly. Have a good one and stay safe.

I had to pay my Fed and state 2022 taxes separately in Jan 2023 because quickbooks didn't take out of my payroll.

I called and said it was a glitch. But I had to spend 5 hrs fixing it. Not right.

Somehow they said my W4 got changed and I didn't change.

I'd like to get in on this problem and solution.  My case# [removed].  I called about a simple 1099 issue and was on the phone for an hour. This is unacceptable.  Everything I tried could not get me to level 2 support which leaves me thinking there is none.

I wish I had more time to waste trying to file a complaint!  We migrated our desktop version of QuickBooks to the online version after finding out that they had bookkeepers that we could hire to assist us.  After we made the change and paid the $2000 for live support, we were told "we don't support companies that operate on a accrual basis."  We are a nonprofit and many of us use the accrual accounting.  Why didn't anyone at QB bother to ask us BEFORE we signed up. Now, we can't get our money back.  I have been told by JILL in QB Live, that she filed a request for a refund.  I was later told by Betty that she filed for us to get a refund - she opened a case [removed], and yet we have heard nothing.  I'm pressed to hire another bookkeeper and I can't get my money back so we can afford it.  DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY IDEAS?  Frustrated Nonprofit Exec.

Quickbooks is a F*CKING JOKE. So is Intuit. There a bunch of liars and thieves.  Consumer support is b*lls*it. They don't care about their customers and when THEY make a mistake they try to hide and blame the consumer for their clerical errors. -5 / 10 stars.  Absolutely F*CKING TERRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK WITH.  And I feel sorry for anyone still working with them. Pieces of sh*t. F*ck you guys.
