Question

How do you use an app to pull in transactions from ETSY so each item shows up on it's own line and goes to the correct income line

We're currently getting items in as ETSY Sale - everything sold on that receipt goes into one description.  QTY is 1 and rate is the combined prices.   Sales are reported as ETSY Sale

It's good to see you here in the QuickBooks Community, @karen-benoitsdes.

Let me clarify things and help you pull in your transactions from ETSY.

Are you looking for a third-party app that can help import your ETSY transactions and show up on its own line and correct income? If yes, you can follow the steps below to find a third-party app:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Apps from the left menu.
  3. In the Finds apps tab, search for an app that can help accomplish your task.

However, if you're trying to import your ETSY transactions directly to QBO, you can follow the step-by-step process in this article: Import transactions from your Etsy shop into QuickBooks Online.

Come back to this post if you're referring to something else, @karen-benoitsdes. I'll be around to provide further assistance.

We are currently doing this but all items come in as one line with the sales combined and going to the ETSY Sales/Income account.  We want to use the SKU on ETSY to come in and match our SKU in QBO to credit the correct income account.
