Hello,

If you mean when you connect a bank account, QB will bring in 90 days by default.  If you want a longer time period, you can download the file from your bank website and import it.  Here is the article on that process.

How do you do this for QB desktop?

You can manually import the transactions in QuickBooks Desktop,  tuxedo99.

Let's log in to your online bank account using a browser like Google Chrome. Then, download your transactions as a QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) file. Once done, you can follow these steps on how to import the file:

  1. Go to File menu > Utilities > Import > Web Connect Files.
  2. Select the QBO file you saved, then click Open.
  3. Choose the Chase account you are importing the transactions into.
  4. Click Continue, then OK.

Then, go to the Bank Feeds Center to review the transactions. Here's another article to learn more about Bank Feeds for QuickBooks Desktop.

Please post again if you have more questions. Wishing you all the best!

Hello,

If I follow the steps mentioned, my bank account (that's already connected) is not one of the accounts available to transfer the file to. Is there a remedy to that.

Thanks.
