How is it possible that I can work for an hour, have my entries show and then when I'm ready to reconcile they aren't there?

Please know we see the importance of reconciling your entries on time inside QuickBooks Online (QBO). We'd recommend reviewing and ensuring what you're trying to reconcile falls within the date that matches entries you've made inside your company. It's possible that what you're trying to reconcile doesn't come close to the date range where you made your entries. Now, to rule out the possibility of being in this situation, it's best to check your bank register and filter the date range to a specific period. We'll write down the steps to get you going:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Transactions tab.
  3. Choose Reconcile, and then locate the bank account you're trying to reconcile.
  4. Click the View register hyperlink.
  5. Once you're inside the register, click the Funnel icon and enter your preferred period.
  6. Select the Apply button.

 

If you see your entries inside the bank register, we recommend performing some basic browser troubleshooting to ensure that this has nothing to do with the browser you're using. Access your company through an incognito or private browser using these shortcut keys:

 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

Once you're in, try to reconcile the account. If it works and you're able to get through, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
