How long does it take to link a bank account when using a credit union that is not listed? I've been waiting several weeks with no response.

I'm here to share some possibilities why you're unable to link your Credit union bank.

 

It may be because:

 

  • Your bank doesn't connect to all types of accounts, such as personal accounts vs. business accounts. 
  • Your financial institution has multiple names on our list.
  • The bank isn't a participating financial institution. 

 

Let's try linking the account using your bank's URL to ensure you're using the correct listing. Before doing so, log in first to your bank's page and copy the URL. It is located at the search bar of the page.

 

Then, paste it on the QuickBooks page. Here's how:

 

  1. From the Banking menu, select Banking.
  2. Click Link account.
  3. Paste your bank's URL.
  4. Continue the on-screen instructions to link the account.
