How to Change banking login Quickbooks 2019 for Mac

I recently updated my bank login information so am not able to download transactions into my Quickbooks Desktop for Mac 2019 version. I've tried to figure out where to edit the exiting information but can't seem to match my screens to what's being shown in various support links.

I've got the steps on how you can update your bank login information on your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac file.

 

When you stored a password in the Apple keychain, QuickBooks doesn't prompt for it when you connect. However, you can use Spotlight to delete the saved password and enter a new one again. Let me guide you with these steps:

 

  1. Launch Keychain Access.
  2. Click on Login for the keychain.
  3. Select All Items for the category.
  4. Enter BankingAccountPassword (no spaces).
  5. Locate the saved password and then click Delete.

 

Afterwards, when you connect, the system will prompt you for the password. Then, you can save it in the keychain again.
