I can help connect your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Chaba.

Beforehand, may I know what specific financial institution you're trying to link in QuickBooks? Any information will help me give you the correct guidance.

When linking your bank and credit card account for the first time, you can choose the timeframe for downloading transactions in QuickBooks. Some banks offer the last 90 days, while others provide up to 24 months, depending on your bank.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select Link Account.
  3. Enter the URL or name of your bank in the Search field, then select the bank.
  4. Put your Sign info in the Login and Password fields, then Continue
  5. Click the account you want to connect and the date to pull transactions from the drop-down arrow. Then, select Next.
  6. Select the Account type from the drop-down list, and hit Next.
  7. Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.

For a new bank account, you can follow the steps below to connect:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. In the Action column, select the View Register drop-down menu. Then, click Connect Bank.
  3. Enter the URL or name of your bank in the Search field, then select the bank.
  4. Click the account you want to connect and the date to pull transactions from the drop-down arrow. Then, tap Next.
  5. Select the Account type from the drop-down list, and hit Next.
  6. Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.

If you can't connect to your bank, manually upload transactions in the program. I'll guide you through the process.

  1. Sign in to your bank's website and export your bank transactions.
  2. In your QBO account, go to the Banking menu.
  3. From the Update drop-down, select File Upload.
  4. Click Browse and select the web-connect file from your bank.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps in mapping the data.

Check this guide for more details: Manually upload transactions.
