How to delete a bank account that is NOT connected to bank feed?

Change in our email addresses caused bank feed problems that required deleting and adding back a bank account. Now instead of just two bank accounts I see three. The one to be deleted is not connected to the bank. What to do?

Hi, @casa3.

 

I can help you with deleting your bank account in QuickBooks.

 

For accounts not connected to online banking, you can delete them through the Chart of Accounts. I can guide you on how.

 

  1. Click on Accounting at the left pane, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Look for the account from the list, then tap on the drop-down arrow under Action.
  3. Hit on Make inactive.

 

If you want to make the account active again, you can follow the steps from this link: delete or reactivate an account on your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.
