how to download bank transactions with attachment

Hello QB Community,

I have a client who uses QBO and downloads bank transactions with an attachment (check image).  I thought that is the coolest thing because this client's bank only allows the image to be available for 90 days.  This client has other locations and use the same bank but don't have attachment with the trans.  How can I "turn the option on" ?

I appreciate you sharing your concern here in the Community, @AR413. Let me share some information so you can continue downloading your bank transactions with attachments into QuickBooks Online. 

 

Once your bank is partnered and connected with QuickBooks, all transactions and attachments imported into the program will load automatically to easily review, categorize, and match the transactions. 

 

Since your client uses the same bank, I recommend contacting the bank to enable the option to include the attachments in the file whenever you download the bank transactions. 

 

Additionally, you can manually add or delete attachments in QuickBooks Online. 

 

Also, you can categorize and reconcile your accounts to make them accurate and balanced.
