How to effectively cancel qbs cash account? I've been waiting for qbs to send me the test transactions in order to verify our own bank account for the transfer....

First I was told to transfer all the funds to our own account first, then QBs will verify our own bank account by sending us a couple test transactions. I've been waiting for a few days and still havent gotten the transactions. At the same time, my QBs cash account is still accepting payments from our clients...what a mess! Of course, I could not get a human to help me with this over the phone. Very frustrating! Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

A QuickBooks Cash account can only be cancelled if the there's a $0 balance on it. This can be the reason why you were told to transfer all the funds to a different account. Once zeroed out, you need to call our Merchant Support to have it cancelled since there's no option to do it inside QBO. 

 

Can you also tell us what happens when you tried to reach out to them? Please take note that our Merchant Support Team, that supports QuickBooks Cash, is only open from Monday to Friday, in between 6 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time. Here's an article for more details: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support.

 

 

You can follow these steps as well on how to reach out to our phone support team:

 

  1. Click Help in the upper right-hand corner of QBO.
  2. Look for Talk to a human and click on it. 
  3. Type in "support" or "contact support" again and press Enter.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you
