Hi there.

I'll make it up to you by making sure you'll be able to connect your bank manually to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

But before we get started, would you mind if I ask what banks are you trying to connect to? This way, I'll be able to provide you with information on whether the bank is supported by Intuit or not.

While waiting for your reply, I'll be giving you these steps on how to connect your bank manually:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Choose Connect account if this is your first time setting up a bank account. Or, if you've already created an account, choose Link account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to locate your bank, you will receive the message, "Hmm, we can't find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," along with some instructions on how to look for your bank account.
  4. Select Continue. Then sign in to your bank with your user ID and password.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps that might include security checks that your bank requires.
  6. Select the accounts you want to connect.
  7. In the account type dropdown ▼, choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.

After which, you can now download your recent transactions so you don't have to enter them manually.

For your reference, you can browse through this article to help you review downloaded transactions and put them in the correct account: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be looking out to your reply and as always, you're always welcome to swing by here anytime if you still have questions or concerns with connecting bank accounts. I'll be here to assist you thoroughly. Take care.
