My download from the bank is missing one transaction and I cannot locate it anywhere.  I think I should just enter it manually, but not sure how to do that in Quickbooks Online.

Hi there,

I'm here to share some insights into why some of your bank transactions are missing. This way, I can help you find or enter it manually and then match them.

Before digging into this issue, may I know what bank you’re using? Through this, we can check if there is an ongoing investigation with your bank to QuickBooks. I'd appreciate it if you provide additional information as it will help me provide a timely resolution.

Since you’ve mentioned you’re having an issue a transaction, you can review your account's history to check the missing entries. I’ll show you how:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and select the Chart of Accounts tab.
  2. Click the bank account, then hit View register.
  3. Locate the transaction, then select it to get more details.

QuickBooks Online offers the ability to manually enter transactions, including those associated with a credit card. Here's how:

  1. Go to the +New icon and select Expense.
  2. Choose the credit card account in the Payment account drop-down.
  3. Enter the necessary information about the transaction.
  4. Click Save.

For more details, see the following article:  Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. It includes instructions on how to bring your bank data if the account is not connected to the bank feeds.
