How to get my QB "account balance chart" to show current on the date balance not future?

I have my QBs desktop set up with my accounts listed on the right-hand side with their balances. Is there a way to have that showing what the current balance is as of today’s date, not what future balance will be? I prefill in upcoming bills and items, so it listed in the register but want to see what the current balance is as of the date when viewing it? Thank you!
