Question

How to important transactions older than 2 months old from my bank (Novo)? Is this an API limitation of some sort? What do I do?

Afaik, Novo connects to QBO as an app, not as a bank. The data will sync automatically including the past transactions. You should contact Novo Support to troubleshoot.

Welcome to Community, vacseenorg-gmail.

I can walk you through the steps on how to import transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First, you'll need to export and save the transactions from your bank through a .CSV file format, and then import them into QuickBooks.

Once done, you now can start importing the old transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Imports under Tools.
  3. Select Bank Data, click Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank. It's usually in your Downloads folder.
  4. Select the file and select Open to start the import.
  5. Click Continue, then select +Add new in the QuickBooks Account drop-down list. Follow the steps to add a new account in the Chart of accounts
  6. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the Date, Description, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks. The other column headers can be in any order.
  7. Select Continue to complete the import.
  8. Once done, select the Yes button to confirm, then click Let's go!

I'd like to include these articles. Each of them provides more details on how to handle the imported transactions in QuickBooks Online:
