How to record a deposit from bank feeds.

Quickbooks Pro 2022 desktop - I have been trying to record deposits into the checkbook register and credit the customer invoice.  MANY PROBLEMS with this.  1. The Add More Details used to have the option to apply the deposit to the customer invoice - that feature is GONE!   2. Received from (enter customer name), then From Account used to be "Undeposited Funds" - no longer available.  I can select from account "Accounts Receivable".  3. Older deposits (b4 Desktop 2022) Receive Payment window opens showing deposit transaction. - New deposits.  ...ETC.  After several calls to Customer Support and many hours over 3 days, I still can't find an answer.  Seems we are BETA testing!!!

Let's run some troubleshooting steps to isolate why some options are gone when creating a deposit and linking to the custome's invoice.

 

To start with, go to the File menu. Select Utilities and then Verify Data. If you see Your data has lost integrity, proceed to rebuild the file.

Once done, you're good to create a deposit and link it to the invoice again: Manage deposits.
