How to transfer money from quickbooks to personal account

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can only make transfers between accounts added to the program. Transferring funds using QBO itself to your personal account isn't possible. Let me guide you how:

1. Click the +New button and choose Transfer.
2. In the Transfer Funds From the dropdown list, pick the bank account that the money is coming from.
3. From the Transfer Funds To dropdown list, select the bank account that the money is going to.
4. Then, enter the amount being transferred in the Transfer Amount field.
5. Set the correct date.
6. Once done, click Save and close. 

You can also record the transfer using a check. 

However, if you've signed up for QuickBooks Payments and you have your QuickBooks Cash account, you can transfer money from it to your personal bank account.

You'll want to ensure your transactions are allocated to the correct account in your Chart of Accounts, To do so, you'll have to make sure you categorize them correctly.
