Thanks for reaching out to us in the Community, @fortemarketing.

Let me share more details about undoing previous reconciliation in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The Undo feature for the reconciled period is only available in QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA). I would suggest reaching out to your accountant to undo the entire period at once using QBOA.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, select Manage users.
  3. Go to the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Enter the accountant's email address, then click Invite.

Otherwise, you'll want to undo the reconciled transactions one at a time. I'll guide you on how:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu, then select Chart of accounts.
  2. Find the account and select "View registration."
  3. Select the transaction you want to unreconcile.
  4. Review the check () column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an "R."
  5. Click the box until it's blank.
  6. Once done, click on Save.
  7. Select "Yes" to confirm.

I've also included our reconciliation guide for reference. It will help you ensure your QuickBooks accounts match your real-life bank statements.

Please come back if you need further assistance in unreconciling your accounts. Doing so helps us to assist you further.
