I accidentally connected my bank account to import all of my transactions from January 2021

I only want January 2022 uploaded rather than all of last year (that's a lot of transactions!) How can I reset this to start over?

You've come to the right place for help, @lovekustoms-gmai.

 

Let me share with you some tips on how you can remove transactions that were accidentally uploaded into QuickBooks.

 

Each of your transactions from 2021 can be excluded or deleted directly from the register. Here's how:

 

To exclude:

  1. Open the Banking menu.
  2. Click on Transactions.
  3. Select your bank account.
  4. From the For Review tab, choose transactions from 2021.
  5. Hit Exclude.

To delete:

  1. Open the Accounting menu.
  2. Click on Chart of Accounts.
  3. In the list of accounts, locate your bank account.
  4. Under ACTION, click on View register.
  5. Choose a transaction.
  6. Click on Delete.

Additionally, review and make sure the beginning balance has the right date and amount.
