I added a bank account in bill pay, but the micro deposits don't show up.

how do I reinitiate micro deposits?

Let me help set up your bank account for online bill payments, bsheehan1066.

 

Online Bill Pay will send a micro-deposit for an amount less than $1.00. The test transactions will post the following business day if you complete the verification process before 6 pm PST.

 

Please check your bank account for the test transaction. When you get the micro-deposit, here's what you need to do.

 

  1. Click + New.
  2. Select Pay bills online, then Verify.
  3. Enter the amount found on your bank statement.
  4. This ability to verify the account will expire two weeks from the time the account is entered into QuickBooks Online. Be sure to complete the verification process before it expires.

Thanks MaryLandT...I did all the things you say...it told me to look for the small transactions. Thing is, they never happened...I checked the account every day ad it did not happen. 

I looked for a way to reinitiate this and it doesn't seem doable. how can I get this to happen? There's a bill I need to pay this way and can't get started.

I suggest contacting Customer Support to check if the account update and test transactions were initiated. They have special tools to check further information and can give you the best resolution to your concern.

 

 

To contact support:

 

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select between Talking to a Human or Chat.

 

Please note their support hours to make sure they are available to assist by the time you contact them.
