Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, nicholas. Let me provide insights on how the new interface in QuickBooks Online works. I'll also ensure you can duplicate the estimate within the program.

We’re releasing a new estimate and invoice layout for QuickBooks Online that can help you keep work moving. However, some functionalities from the old invoices and estimates will not be available in the new layout at the time of the update. With this, the ability to see a Duplicate option in the Estimates section is currently unavailable in the new interface.

I recommend locating the created estimate and opening it. You'll then be able to make a copy of the transaction from there as a workaround.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the New button and choose Estimate.
  2. Click the Manage or Gear icon.
  3. Click the Action drop-down arrow. Then, select Make a copy.
  4. Change the details if needed and click Save.

However, if you're still on the old layout and don't see the Duplicate option in the Estimates section, you can open the entry. Then, select More at the bottom and Copy. I've added a screenshot below for visual reference.

If the issue persists, you have to log in to your QBO account on a private and perform the steps above. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue that might cause you to be unable to create a copy of the transaction.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works in incognito, you need to clear the cache of your regular browser. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. Then, use another supported browser in case the steps above don't work.

Lastly, refer to this article if you need steps on how you can personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I've got your back if you have some follow-up questions about managing estimates in QuickBooks, nicholas. Have a good one.
