I am having trouble connecting my bank account. I have followed the steps. It says connection complete, I press OK, then it says, Looks like there are no accounts linked.

Below are some possible reasons why the bank account linking might be unsuccessful:

 

  • The bank may not be a participating bank.
  • Your bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank is having a system maintenance. I recommend signing in to your bank's website to check if there are issues with your financial institution.
  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one or try all possible bank URLs.

 

Let's start by logging in to your QBO account using a private browser and attempting to connect your bank from there. This will help us determine if the issue is related to your browser. Please use the following browser shortcuts:

 

Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If the issue is resolved after this, consider clearing your regular browser's cache to refresh your connection and browsing history. Keep in mind to exclude the cookies. Alternatively, you can try using other supported browsers.

 

Additionally, you have the option to manually download your transactions from your bank in CSV file format and then upload them to QBO.
