I want to make sure you'll be able to find those transactions, @amber-sievert.
In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), when you first connect your bank, the system will download 30 to 90 days of transactions. To help you find the missing transactions, let's run manual updates to ensure your data is updated. Here's how:
Navigate to the Gear icon.
Choose Bank Account.
Select Refresh On.
If you still can't see those transactions, they may be stuck somewhere along the road. I suggest reviewing your Transactions page and specifying the filters to find the 4-months old transactions. Let me guide you how:
Sign in to your QBSE account.
Then, go to the Transactions menu.
Select the specific information in the Type, Account, and Date categories.
Just in case you'll want QBSE to automatically categorize transactions for you, you can set up bank rules. This method works best when you have similar types of transactions from the same client or vendor.
Feel free to post a comment below if there's anything else you need about finding missing transactions in QBSE. I got your back. Keep safe always.
