I am missing purchases in my transactions. It is not importing the business expenses. My bank accounts are still connected and money transfers show up but not purchases.

Hi there, @Bascht.

 

I like to investigate this situation and ensure that you have accurate transaction data.

 

In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), once you’re bank account is connected, we pull as much of your income and spending transaction data as possible. However, if transactions not posted into your account, we can perform a manual refresh into your bank account to help us resolve the problem. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the upper right hand. 
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click Refresh all.

Once done, kindly go to the Transactions tab and make sure to choose All for the Type.

 

Please also know that QBSE is a read-only app in which once your bank account is connected, it will bring in transactions based on the transactions posted into your bank account. Thus, I suggest checking your bank statement and compare the transactions posted into your QBSE account.

 

Once bank transactions downloads, you can now start categorizing them to straighten out your books.
