Question

I am missing the deposit side of a transfer from one Chase bank account to another on July 8th 2021? My bank statements are correct. I have refreshed the bank connections twice.

Hi there, rhw4.

I'm here to help you in handling the missing transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed(QBSE).

Currently, we haven't received any reports about a missing transaction with Chase Bank. The transactions probably are shown on a different date. Let's search for a transfer deposit to confirm. If it's not there, you can manually add them to match with your bank statement. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. In the Type dropdown, choose the Transfer.
  3. In the Account dropdown, select the corresponding Chase bank account.
  4. Review the list of transactions.

If it's not listed, you can proceed by adding them manually. You can review this article for more detailed steps: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Once it's inside QuickBooks, you can check out this resource to ensure that transactions are on the correct line of your Schedule C report: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can reply to this post if you have further questions or concerns about bank feeds. I'd be happy to help. Have a great day.
