I'm here to help you in reconciling your checking account, tinypieces.

There are reasons why transactions are missing on your Reconcile page. These are due to the following:

  • Some banks and credit card companies don't post transactions for download until later in the day or the next morning.
  • Some banks will show a transaction on their website but won't download the transaction until it posts.
  • If the missing transactions are the most recent ones, wait at least 24 hours in case your bank doesn't make them available immediately.
  • Transactions may be visible on the For Review page but might not have been categorized or matched.
  • Some transactions may have been reconciled manually in the register.

To download transactions, we can perform a manual update to refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

  1. In the left menu, click Transactions.
  2. Select Bank transactions.
  3. Choose the appropriate bank or credit card account.
  4. Click the Update button.

After downloading the transactions, review and categorize them correctly. Once all transactions are accounted for, proceed to reconcile your bank account again.

In case you encounter any issues during the reconciliation process, there are several articles that may provide guidance on how to address them:
