Question

I am trying to link my business account with my credit union but only my personal account populates. Can I manually enter the business account number?

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Hello there, gallowaykm1. I understand the importance of having your transaction from your bank accurately recorded in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First off, if your bank account doesn't show when you link to QuickBooks Online, it's possible that it's not supported. You don't need to enter the business account number manually. However, you can manually import your bank transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Click the down arrow icon beside Update, then choose Upload transactions.
  3. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank, then Continue.
  4. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions. then select Continue.

In addition, I recommend reaching out to your financial institution to request support.

For future reference, you reconcile your account so they match your bank and credit card statements in QBO.

Let me know if you have other concerns about managing your bank feeds and reconciling your account. I'll be around to help. Wishing you the best of luck!
