Hello, picatti.

I'll grab a couple of solutions to help you fix the "add an account" issue when printing your check.

You'll want to review the check you want to print and check to see if the accounts have been removed (due to sync issues or webpage problems).

Ensure that the line items are properly filled up with the correct accounts and a bank account is assigned.

If the check has the appropriate accounts and the line items are correctly placed, then this is likely caused by a webpage cache issue.

When a browser's cache storage is full or there's a corrupted data in it, it'll cause odd behaviors in QuickBooks Online.

In this case, you can rule this out using a private or incognito browser:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

Log in to QuickBooks Online and print the check again. When you're able to do so, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache to remove the corrupted webpage data

Close out any browser instances after clearing the cache to apply a new slate for the cache storage.

Though, using another supported browser to print the checks can also work.
