I am trying to set up a rule in the banking center but I cannot see the bottom of the screen to save. How can I make the window smaller? There is a size icon but haven't figured out how to use it.

You've come to the right place! I'm here to help make sure you can finish setting up your banking rule in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Are you in the Add Rules Details screen? If so, you can move the screen by clicking the screen name and dragging it upward until you see the Save button. Another way is by ticking the small QuickBooks logo on the screen and selecting Move.

To prevent this from happening in the future, make sure that the View option in the Preferences is set to One Window.

Here's how to do it:

1. In QBDT, go to the Edit menu at the top left, then Preferences.
2. Select the Desktop View menu at the left pane, then proceed to the My Preferences tab.
3. In the View section, choose One Window.
4. Hit OK to save.
