Hello there, alwaysforwardtog.

I'm here to help you connect your Navy Federal bank account to QuickBooks Online bank feeds.

Before we proceed, can you please let me know at which part of the process you were asked to write where you want the notification to be sent? Any additional information about your concern would help provide the most accurate information and assist you better.

I'd like to inform you that we haven't received any other complaints about being unable to connect Navy Federal business bank accounts to QuickBooks Online. Therefore, I suggest checking with your bank if there's any ongoing maintenance issue. You can also ask for guidance from your bank about the notification message you received.

Once everything's all set, connect your bank account to QuickBooks again. This time, use your bank's specific URL.

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select Link Account.
  3. Enter the URL of your bank in the Search field, then select the bank.
  4. Enter your credentials in the Login and Password fields, then select Continue
  5. Select the account that you want to connect and date to pull transactions from the dropdown. Then, select Next.
  6. Configure your account as desired.

For more information on connecting your bank account to QuickBooks Online, please refer to this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

I have had this problem for years. After trying the last two years I was told that the two were not compatible and was refunded for the last 24 months.

@alwaysforwardtog

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) for the time being.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I think the root cause is NFCU has member use the same credentials to access both personal and business accounts. Once authenticated to the member portal, personal accounts are displayed first by default. I have to select a dropdown menu option in the upper righthand corner of the window to access my business accounts.

When I sign into NFCU through QB Online when trying to link the accounts, only my personal accounts are displayed and there is no option to select the business accounts. I think this is related to the requirement to select the dropdown in the portal and switch to the business account view.

Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this issue and/or has found a resolution.

Hello there, TheMiddleburgTherapist. I understand you're facing issues connecting your Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) business account to QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm here to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I noticed that the bank only connects personal accounts. It could be due to the account connection restrictions in place. To confirm this, I recommend contacting the NFCU support team. From there, you can verify the type of accounts you can link to QBO.

If NFCU allows personal and business accounts, let's check if this is a cache-related issue. Sometimes, excessive cache can prevent a successful connection between your financial institution and QuickBooks.

To troubleshoot this, I recommend logging in to your QBO account using a private browser. It ignores websites from using cookies and doesn’t record any history and data. Use these shortcut keys on your keyboard to access incognito mode:

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

If you successfully link your business account, clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a  different supported browser.

Alternatively, we can manually upload your transactions to QuickBooks if you need to work on your records as soon as possible.

After bringing in all your entries, we can start categorizing them for your books. Then, reconcile your accounts to ensure they match with your bank statements.

Let me know if you have more questions about linking your bank account. I’m just a post away. Have a good one.

I'm having the same issue. I cannot connect my NFCU business account to QBO. It only shows my personal accounts.

Any update on this?  Would be great to get my business expense tracking program to connect to my business bank accounts...  Seems like it would pretty a pretty standard requirement for a product like Quickbooks.  Where is my money going every month if not to fund the dev team?

Wow, so not only did Quickbooks just ghost everyone, but they actually formalized it by closing the ticket.  At this point, I'm going to switch to Xero.
