Hi there,

Thank you for reaching us, @skettic. Let me show you how to grant your bookkeeper access to the company file and accounting data in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Working with a bookkeeper simplifies the process of reviewing your books, making necessary corrections, and resolving any tricky transactions. I'll show you how you can invite your bookkeeper to your QBO account,

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon, then select Manage Users.
  2. Select Add User, then enter the user’s name and email address.
  3. Select the Roles dropdown, then select the role you want to assign to the user.
  4. Review the features this role gives access to. You can expand each section.
  5. Select Send invitation.

For your bookkeeper to access your account through QuickBooks Online Accountant, they will need to accept an email invitation. Once they have accepted the invitation, you can begin reconciling your account to ensure it always matches your bank and credit card statements.

If the issue persists I highly suggest contacting our Customer Care Support, they have the ability to access your account and provide better assistance. You can find the correct steps to contact QuickBooks Online support in this article: QuickBooks Online Support.

Additionally, you can check out this link and learn how to review your beginning balance and look for issues for accounts you haven't reconciled before: Fix issues the first time you reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

If there's anything else that I can help you with managing your account in QuickBooks, please let me know by leaving any comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
